Some days I'm just not a good person to take to a lunch buffet. I don't get my money's worth. But the up side is that I can get a variety of dishes. Today was simple, Indian Meatballs, Murg Timka Makhani, Murg Kadaiwala, Garlic Naan & Basmati Rice, with Badameer Kheer for dessert. Yes it was delicious. The food on some buffets sit too long causing dryness and loss of taste. Not here - the turnover of all buffet items prevented that. They were doing a brisk business and it seemed like people were leaving and arriving at similar times so there was little to no wait. Food was great & prices were reasonable - especially for the quality.

I was traveling with family and ordered indian coffee and aloo gobi with phulka(homemade style) roti.
-the coffee came in a food container bowl. It was black coffee, no cream or sugar on side or in the coffee. I specifically asked for strong indian coffee. This dude just gave a normal black drip coffee. It was not even in a cup. when i called and asked him he said to use your own cup.
-The potato/cauliflower was not fully cooked extra large pieces of cauliflower and potato in tomato sauce. (That's not u make this curry- its only made with aloo and gobi)
-Roti was basic thick naan when I specifically asked for phulka roti and explained him too.
Every single thing i tried was horrible.
When i called they didn't care and just hung up the phone.
Don't support such businesses when they don't support you!!Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 1 - 24006523453Aug 16, 2023
We happily stumbled across this restaurant while we were traveling through Albuquerque. I can't tell you how much we all really loved our Indian dishes and I know how hard it is to find a really good Indian restaurant.
Clearly other people have also found this restaurant. While the seating area wasn't that busy, there was a lot of takeout leaving the building.
If we lived in the area, we would definitely be ordering out from this place on a regular basis.
Also, a family member has celiac so finding a place that we can safely eat gluten-free is also important and we were really happy to know that we could safely eat here.
The one thing I will say is, I usually expect the naan to be light and fluffy and this was more denser like a flatbread.Helpful 2Thanks 0Love this 2Oh no 0 - Jun 4, 2023
I recently visited Taj Mahal Cuisine of India for dinner, and although they didn't have a buffet, I decided to explore their menu. As a vegan, I'm always grateful to find Indian food places that offer plenty of vegan options. I opted for the Baingain Bharta, my go-to dish when trying out new restaurants, along with some vegetable samosas.
The Baingain Bharta was decent. I asked for it to be spicy, and they delivered it! As for the samosas, I found the dough-to-fillings ratio to be on the thicker side, and personally, I prefer less bread and more potatoes and peas. The service was fast and attentive, and I would like to mention specifically that, I unintentionally left my credit card behind after leaving the restaurant, and they held onto it for me until I could come to pick it up the next day. I really appreciated them for that!
I would definitely love to come back and try some other items on the menu when I'm back in Albuquerque.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Lexi O.Uptown, Albuquerque, NM2012211Feb 24, 2024
Ordered DoorDash from here tonight, it has definitely changed with the flavor. I had the Mutter Paneer, ordered a soda, and a shake. I wasn't expecting anything fancy with the shake, but it came in a sm food container...along with the soda. The shake was way melted.
Hardly got any soda, they filled it up with ice. Lol I don't know, that's just crazy to me.
The food was not worth it. It was fine, but the flavor is gone. Pretty sad that this place is not using common sense, and so on.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Aug 5, 2023
The portion sizes here are generous. We had the chicken tikka masala, ordering both mild and medium spice levels. I have eaten a lot of Indian food, and love a nice average level of spicy, so I usually go with medium for me. The medium was really really spicy though. Not so much that I couldn't eat it, but I'ld go mild next time. The chicken in the mild sauce was super tender, but the chicken in the medium sauce was a bit dried out. The basmati rice was very good, but the garlic naan tasted more like a nice flatbread.
If there weren't any other options for Indian food in ALB I would come back here and adjust my order based on my first visit, but there are plenty of options here in town so I will try a few other places first.Helpful 4Thanks 0Love this 4Oh no 0 - Diamond K.La Mesa, CA910934Jan 6, 2024
Tried this place today and love it! We got the lunch buffet and everything was hot and delicious! The quality of the food was very good and the tiki masala chicken with so delicious! The best I've ever tasted. I basically tried everything at the buffet and it was all good! The potato's and carrots had a curry seasoning on them which blew my mind! I usually am not a fan of Potato
but I could eat these potato's every day and be happy! lol Overall I think I will be back often because the service was good, the food was amazing, and the ambiance is well something new and different which I like!Helpful 1Thanks 1Love this 0Oh no 0 - Apr 25, 2023
Yummy! Really happy with the food here. Inside is a little darker than I think is necessary, but it's pretty quiet and very clean. The staff were all very friendly and the food bar was completely stocked the entire time we were there. All four of us opted for the buffet to try everything. There are lots of options, as you can see from the picture. The naan was really great, very soft and fluffy. My favorite dish was the Tandoori Chicken and the vegetable curry dish (I don't remember the correct name). We all stuffed our faces, and I have since talked this place up to everyone I know! I can't wait to go back!! Best Indian food in town that I've had!
