A New Mexican must try!! It was my first time here. They are located just north of Deming, New Mexico alongside the Hatch hwy, snuggled inside an RV park. The atmosphere was very inviting, with it's colorful decorations, setting you back with the good ole diner,small town vibes. Be ready and know what you're craving for as their menu has alil bit of everything!! I could never go wrong with the red cheese, ground beef, enchiladas with an egg on top that I requested. My daughter had their shrimp cocktail. The red chili was SO flavorful and the beans were so good! The shrimp cocktail was so delicious with big shrimp and a good amount of avocado and everything. She was stuffed and happy. Another favorite of ours, was their chips and salsa. The salsa was so good!! I wish I had asked to purchase a to go jar. Good variety of drinks. I heard they serve sweet tea too. I always go for the Mexican Coke bottles. Im visiting from Phoenix, Arizona and with myself being a food blogger, I have to say this is now one of my new favorite restaurants to come when visiting. Always support Deming local and go try Alma's!

The flavors they create are exceptional. They make you feel like you're guests in their home. Don't be distracted by the building's plain exterior because they focus on authentic Mexican flavors in their great kitchen. Prices are affordable and staff is attentive.

Unassuming outside, but amazing food, great service, super clean. The salsa is so fresh and flavorful. We had tostadas and tacos. The food tastes homemade. Definitely a must stop!

Great food! Torta with Carne Asada was the bomb. There a little out of the way from IH-10, but worth ot. Give them a try!!

Alma's is locate across the highway from where I live. I tried it when it opened and have been going back ever since. The food is tasty, the service excellent and is a true hidden jewel for those traveling on Hatch Highway between Deming and Hatch. I eat there regularly.

Delicious food in this restaurant. I had the posole and it was full of meat and corn and it was served with bread. So good. My husband had the huevos rancheros. Great tasting red New Mexico chile! Definitely we'll come back here. The staff is exceptional and full of laughter.

If your a local or traveling through like we were, you should definitely try this spot. Chips and salsa were home made and just the right amount of heat. Also, free chips and salsa refills. We started with the asada fries which were really good. They were not greedy with the meat portion on the fries. My wife had the gorditas of ground beef which were filled with meat and she said were very good. I had the combo plate with the Chile relleno, taco, and enchilada in green sauce. The food was great and the staff was very friendly. The wife says that best part was the Mexican Coke in a glass bottle. My favorite part was the salsa. I put it on everything!
