Universal Water Systems

Having been in technical sales, installation and service for over 30 years I have worked with some very some lousy salesmen and installers.

I have also had the pleasure to work with some excellent, trustworthy sales and technical engineers.

In this case we were fortunate to have worked with two of the best.

Our salesperson, Randy Williams was easy to get along with, low pressure, knowledgeable and very well prepared. He verified our reasons for purchasing a water softening system. His approach in explaining the mechanics, relationship with Costco, BBB and consumer rating and the equipment warranty was the reason we purchased from Universal Water Systems/ Eco Water Systems verses their competitors.

The installer, Adam Urizar was professional, friendly, knowledgeable and exhibited very neat working habits (that may not sound like much, to me it's very telling of the level of competence of the installer).
Adam was a pleasure to work with; he explained what he was doing and why. When he was finished with the install he reviewed all of the need to know procedures in a clear and concise manner.


Based on their professionalism as sales and service representatives of Universal Water Systems, I would recommend their products and services.

I just wanted to make a comment on the way that the drivers of the universal waste systems company drive. It's an unprofessional manner to be on the road flipping your middle finger to the person that is passing you and it's not a rude to be a feeling obscenities about kicking my but. I just want to make sure that the company instills good driving practices and all their workers and the event that they are on the road and something like this occurs if somebody's following too close behind you and you're going to speed limit I'd advise to stay a little further with him breaking distance. This is just an accident that happens every day but it could have been avoided the driver of universal water systems had some common courtesy on the road and shared it with others instead of trying to be irate angry and otherwise downright mean

I would give zero stars if I could. These people came to my door and acted like they were having us take part in a survey about the water in our house (I thought they were affiliated with government because of the fluoride issue Albuquerque just voted on). They asked us for a phone number and never mentioned what it was for. Since that conversation 1 1/2 days ago, we've gotten 5 phone calls. We've asked them to remove us from their call list and they said no and that they'd be calling us back.

We had our yearly service with Dominque and it was great! He was so knowledgeable and helpful with explaining how to make our system even more efficient. He was finished and in and out in under an hour.

Can't say enough about this team. They have EXCELLENT customer service and were great about taking the time to listen to our concerns we had with our issue, was able to get someone out and look at the problem and was able to resolve it in a timely manner. We love their products and would recommend anyone get them in their home. Kyle is a great leader of his team as we had to do a move of our system and it was smooth. Their communication was on point and we felt informed the entire process. We cannot thank them enough

salesman told me that we could pay additional month to cancel the contract. Said they didn't want anyone as customer who didn't like their system. Now I find that isn't the truth. 3 yrs to pay and the system stopped working and getting run around for a repair to to come fix it. Horrible customer service.

We bought an inferior water filtration system online and we had Universal install it. They came out several more times over the course of a year to deal with all of its problems. They were always responsive and helpful. We just recently bit the bullet and bought a much better system directly from them. The service was terrific. Bo is a great technician. The following day we sprang a leak under the sink. Kyle came out that same day. As it turned out, it wasn't the water filtration system at all. It was a clogged pipe leading out from under the garbage disposal. Kyle fixed it even though that's not part of his job. He was knowledgable, pleasant and so very helpful. Every experience we've had with Universal has been positive. I recommend them very highly.

Richard came by to present the water system this evening and I'm excited to have it installed! You can clearly see the difference between my well water and the eco systems treated water. Honestly, I can't wait to clean my chrome sink lol
