Went in spite of the recent reviews as so many restaurants close so early( I will never understand the fact that in NM restaurants close at 8 and 9 on Fri & sat ). We were a party of 10 and it was 7:30. We were greeted @ the door by a very nice woman she immediately set up tables to accommodate us. Our service was kind and quick. They had a woman singing, she was great and the live music was an enjoyable bonus for a sat night. All our food was great and portions were huge! WARNING the red is HOT HOT. Price was reasonable. But I will always be disappointed in a restaurant that charge for chips and salsa when you order food and drinks. I'm hoping that the 1star reviews opened some eyes and change was implemented because we really enjoyed our visit and hope others can also.

Chips and salsa. Some of the best in Santa Fe. I usually get the roast beef quesadilla red. Or a salad. Unfortunately I don't try anything else the roast beef has my name on it.

This place was on point! We drove up from Albuquerque to go to Meow Wolf and dropped by Tortilla Flats for dinner. It is within walking distance from there so it was perfect. I have to say that the restaurant needs a little bit of updating but their food and service make up for it. There's nothing like simple and traditional New Mexican green chicken enchiladas. Yet these flat tortilla-styled enchis were a perfect taste of comfort. Draped in creamy green chile sauce topped with cheese. I love it when they stick with the traditional posole as a side instead of rice. Now, let's talk about their sopapillas! I can't believe how much I loved them. I never order them because I am not a fan, but I am definitely a fan of theirs. They taste more "bready" than what I am used to having. I know that's not a word, but it's the best I can describe it and I loved them. For a Thursday evening, they were a little busy yet the drinks and food came out pretty quick. The restaurant was clean and so were their bathrooms. Also, the hostess and our server were very friendly.

My first time eating here and was very pleased! Very spacious restaurant with several indoor or even outdoor covered patio to sit at. There is a bar section with a couple large TV's that had a football game on the day I went. Restaurant and restrooms were nice and clean. Host and server were very friendly. The menu was a little confusing as it only indicated Breakfast & Lunch but it appears you can order any of these items for dinner as well. I ordered the combination plate which had a nice variety of several things and the plate literally comes loaded all the way to the edges! Food was tasty! I had Christmas style chile. Both the red and the green chile had a nice mild flavor to it, nothing to extreme.

Took them almost 30 minutes to seat us. Ordered all meals which was a chicken quesadilla, tortilla flats burger cheese and sweet potato fries, carne asada and potato burrito. It took them almost an hour and 30 minutes to bring our food to the table. The burrito was cold and when we voiced it he was arrogant saying that he saw them prepared in front of him. He also filled up the soda literally by pouring soda in a glass and then pouring it over my friend's shoulder out of a glass instead of bringing a fresh soda in all the services were the food is expensive for what you get the tortilla flat Burger had a couple of sprinkles of cheese on it with some salad concoction on the side the fries were not that good it doesn't even taste like fries the quesadilla had more guacamole than cheese.

We came upon this after going to Meow Wolf. Took a little bit to get our order but the food was good. We are from NM 5 hours away and the New Mexican food was different , but great! The sopapillas were AMAZING. They didn't get five stars just because they sat some people with a dog right next to us. I love dogs just didn't expect to see one at a table next to us.

Another don't miss place! We went on a Thursday night. It was packed and they were understaffed so it took a little extra time but the food completely made up for it! The drinks are priced very reasonable. The chips and salsa are fantastic where the salsa is fresh and has a hint of onion and cilantro with a bite! The carne adovada is flat out perfect. The green and red chile are amazing. The sopapillas are hot out of the fryer! It had been years since we last went but it will be a regular stop going forward!

Do not waste your time or money here! $70 dinner for 4 people- no service, food was nothing special. Pozole was cold. The only good thing about this place was the guy performing and us walking out the door. With all the awards they have on the wall it seems they've let serving customers and good food go out the door! This place needs to be shut down.

A bit disorganized. Staff complaining about overwork. Terrible frozen margaritas. Good patron margaritas. Chips were great. Hot sauce was given in a small container with enough salsa for 2 chips. Very cheap. Great brisket tacos. Rice undercooked. Good beans. Good chili relleno Blue corn tortillas were tough
