Q:
Last time I was there, they weren''t serving alcohol? Has that changed yet?
A:
Yes, we do currently have beer, wine and some mixed drinks.
Roman H., Business OwnerÂ1 year agoQ:
Do they have wine?
A:
NO. They have a big HUGE sign facing the highway advertising that they have beer and wine, but they are currently without alcohol and have been for a couple of months.

YUM!
We were apprehensive about sushi at an Asian hodge-podge (Japanese and Thai). It's not fusion. It's literally a sushi bar and Thai food in the same restaurant, and it's GOOD. Added bonus: they have gluten free soy sauce!!!
Sushi is fresh and generously portioned; the tempura was light, though not the traditional batter. Pad Woon Zen with shrimp was new to us, and we DEVOURED the dish (mung bean threads stir fried with vegetables and shrimp in a sauce that reminded me a little of a lighter pad see ew).
Service was friendly, prompt and thorough. The atmosphere tends toward casual. Overall, it is a great place for a casual dinner with eclectic menu choices. 4 stars because I can't give it 4 1/2. When we next visit Albuquerque, this place will be a stop!Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Jan 6, 2024
January 6, 2024. Saturday. Dinner.
Bob Ross would say a "Happy Accident". We started out the night at the nearby Cheddars restaurant. They told us the wait would be an hour. We found this place by randomly driving around. I'd swear this place isn't that old, because I remember eating at the nearby Crab Boil and this place didn't exist then. Upon walking in, they sat us immediately and took our order.
Let me say, this place has VARIETY. They boast a nine-page menu of mostly Thai dishes, a one-page menu of rolls, sushi and nigiri, and three pages of sake, wine, beer and cocktails on a three faced tabletop display. They offer Japanese and Thai dishes. I ordered 2 rolls from the sushi menu. A spicy salmon roll, $13.99, with avocado and Masago. Crazy roll, $14.99, with spicy yellowtail tuna, sriracha sauce, and green onions. Of the two rolls, the spicy salmon was better, though neither wowed me. The fish just didn't seem fresh, probably based on our actual proximity to the ocean. Our waiter did check on the green tea for us. He found decaffeinated green tea ($3), which I ordered. It seemed to come endlessly out of the small metal kettle.
The inside of the restaurant was well lit. Not romantic, but a good place for a casual date. They have both booths and tables and it is quite spacious inside. I'm sure if you're a fan of Japanese or Thai cuisine you could order something that suits you from all of their options. I would opt for Thai next time because my wife seemed to enjoy her food more than I did!Helpful 9Thanks 1Love this 7Oh no 1 - Zoe R.Santa Fe, NM015May 4, 2024
Tasty, fresh Thai food and sushi!
First off, the restaurant is very cool inside with very nice, tasteful decor. The staff was great, super friendly and gave great suggestions. And the food was delicious! I had the Pad Kee Mow, flat rice noodles with a lovely light garlic sauce and lots of fresh veggies. We also had sushi and pad Thai. All was great! There is a huge menu, so we're definitely coming back again.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Daryl E.San Bernardino, CA289132Apr 17, 2024Updated review3 check-ins
Friendly servers, early 2000s music, and food is always a hit. Being able to earn SouthWest points and get food and service this good, I'm going to be hitting this spot at least once every time I'm in the ABQ area.

They make little roses with the straw paper :)
Friendly staff,
Cute design on the caterpillar roll.
High quality ingredients.
Thai Iced Tea was one of my favorite Thai Teas I've had from anywhere.
Peanut curry was just as I expected, and very filling.
Will definitely be coming back - Sep 2, 2023Updated review
This is one of our family favorites. The kids love Asian food and my hubby and I enjoy it on occasion. They have a nice variety of options.
We had a couple of sushi rolls but we ate them too quickly to take a picture
I love the combos because they come with soup, egg rolls and a main course.
The service is very good. They check back frequently for drink refills.
The restaurant is decorated with traditional Asian. I love the umbrellas in the ceiling.Helpful 3Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0Jul 23, 2023Previous reviewThis is our new Asian place for the family!
They have a huge menu so there is something for everyone. The food is always hot, flavorful and delicious. The service is great. The servers are friendly and often ask if we need anything. The decor is typical Asian with umbrellas on the ceiling and a dragon on the wall.
Love it! - Aug 15, 2023
What a great find! After leaving the movie theater and looking for a place for lunch we found Tokyo Bangkok. The service was great and so was the food! We started off with the gyoza and they arrived hot and quickly and they were delicious! I ordered the spicy jungle noodles with chicken and it had great flavor and was really good! My husband ordered the spicy sesame udon noodles with pork and was very happy with the dish, also great flavor. Our server was very friendly and and attentive. I would highly recommend trying this restaurant and I think you won't be disappointed

Service was top notch, was literally treated at the door! Drink was never empty, and the people were nice.
The shrimp tempura appetizer was delicious (5 pieces), and my sushi was excellent (Santa Fe something on the chiefs specialties).
The combo fried rice was a little small portion $21, and the beef was tough, but the other meats were good.
All in all, we'll be back. And I've got my eye on the Slytherin sushi next time!Helpful 3Thanks 1Love this 1Oh no 0
