Great big breakfast- go with the two car pileup and be ready to unbuckle your belt and let your stomach expand. Food is so good, you're full but still want to eat more.
Be sure ti tip your server and enjoy the rest of your day.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Adam S.Los Lunas, NM11416Oct 9, 2023
If you happen to be in the area of Farmington NM and want some great food, give TJ's Diner a try. Their food is made to order, and they give generous portions. Everything on the menu looks delicious. The Green Eggs and Hash and the Two Car Pile-up (spicy) are my personal favorites. The staff is very friendly and will assist you if you have any questions about any items on the menu. They have lots of different food items, to choose from, on the menu for breakfast and lunch. Be aware that they do close at 2 pm and can get a bit busy during breakfast time. I will definitely visit TJ's on my next trip to Farmington area and look forward to introducing my friends to this business and their great food.

Don't let the rating turn you away, this place is a solid diner. If you're down for the usual eggs and hash browns, hit up TJ's.
We loved the energetic pop of this cafe on a Saturday morning, which is a tribute to the downtown vibe of the great metropolis that is Farmington, New Mexico, something I'm betting most people don't know is, um, vibing, these days. But it is. Farmington has a super strong Mainstreet thing going on, lots of local businesses of all sorts, from bars to clothing shops, and it's fun to experience. If you haven't been to downtown Farmington, lately, lemme urge ya, there's plenty happening. #joltyourjourney
No, I'm not a shill for the city. I just find that hashtag amusing. Anyway, why three stars? Y'all, get the chile right! While we waited for our to-go orders, the dude next to me asked the server what happened to the green chile. This cafe serves up a sauce, both red and green, that simply doesn't represent. C'mon, guys. Get the real deal. Raise prices a smidge. You're not Durango, you're Farmington.Helpful 6Thanks 2Love this 5Oh no 0 - Mar 3, 2023
Classic diner with great service and coffee, reminded me of the diners you see in movies where it's very lively and lots of people in and out. Portions are huge, had the green eggs and hash with a side of pancakes and couldn't come close to making a dent in it. Pancakes were awesome, just wish the green chile had a bit more spice. Not a huge deal though and would come back here if I'm ever in Farmington again.

TJ's was excellent. The food was amazing, it's not just a diner or diner food, but they have all kinds of breakfast lunch and it really was something.
We were looking for a good brunch place and they absolutely came through with flying colors, we are going there again and again.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - T.L. T.Farmington, NM01Feb 21, 2024
Let me start by saying the food and service is good. The reason for the 3 stars is for punishing debit/credit card users. They charge a fee if you pay with a card, and they do not disclose this until you are at the counter and see it on your receipt. Also, the fee was rather high for just one person. I do not like being hit with hidden fees at the end of a meal. Once seeing this charge on my receipt, I did look for signs disclosing this fee. I saw none. They should also disclose the fee amount the card companies charge so that we know we are only paying the card fees and nothing more. As it stands, we don't actually know what we are paying for. Certainly left a bad taste in my mouth. Just an FYI, if you plan to try TJ's Diner. Also, while this diner is good, there are other places just as good, if not better, that do not charge a fee for using a debit/credit card.
