The Salt Yard - West

Great atmosphere! Not too packed due to the weather, but let's all take a trip there so they can stay open. I'm sure once it gets warmer it'll be packed again.

Get the pizza!!! Trust me!!!

Food is typical bar food and not bad but not great. Staff is present but not overly friendly. The place itself is pretty cool and would be a great venue for various events. If you need to use the bathroom, regardless of gender, you may want to leave and use it somewhere else! My wife used the bathroom while I was using the men's bathroom and we both came out. Disgusted! We understand this place probably had an event last night, but you would think that a cleaning crew would have at least come through and clean the bathrooms, as they are absolutely a mess! Even on the inside, there are spots where things have not been cleaned up. I say this because we got here at 9:30 before other people started to arrive for the event we are attending. What a shame! Aside from events, taking place here, and being invited to attend, we would not come here on our own accord.

The atmosphere is very sports bar vibe! Nice and spacious, and understandably only a small part of it is open during the weekday. The cider was good, nothing special. The service was fine as well. I'm just bummed the food sales closed at 8 when I was there on Wednesday.

For the event that I attended at this establishment, the ambiance was what I thought it would be for such a big venue. Only two staff members working the bar, very limited on drinks and crowd was still served. This place is cool in that there are different things to do. Place to hang out with you bringing your own food to watch a Sunday football game. Kid friendly establishment with a huge area to hang out. Could use more drink options and more staffers to serve.

The salt yard venue itself is nice and spacious. We went with a large group get together! The bar was lacking in attendants. 1 guy was working himself to death. They need more barkeeps. You also do not mix two different kind of vodkas together when a customer orders a specific kind. They did not have any food choices and if they added those they would have made a killing with our large group. Even if they had food trucks show up! It needs improvement!

It was first time at this location and it was meh. The space is huge but there aren't enough tables for the amount of people. Another thing is that the music inside (although great music) is so loud. You pretty much have to yell to hear the person next to you. The outside space is nice with a large area to play corn hole and a few other games. My main issue with this place is the attitude one of the bartenders had. There were two, if you're going from the outside game area to the bar, she was on the left. I had previously gone to the right side to get a drink. They didn't have any menus out and the one I found online is apparently not the correct one for this location and it's not an update one. But the bartender said to just tell her a drink and she'd let us know if she could make it. Anyway I chose a drink from the online menu and showed it to the bartender on the right. She was great did an amazing job making the drink even though she hadn't done it before. She looked at the ingredients and figured it out the proportions to the making the drink. Like all great bartenders do. Two others in my group liked it they asked her to make it for them as well. Back at our table one of my sister loved the drink so she decided to go get the same one. Unfortunately she went to the left side of the bar. That bartender took way to long to acknowledge we were there even though she wasn't with other customers ( most people were going to the right side for their drinks red flag)
Then when asked if she could make the drink she stated " I know how to make any drink". Then when she was shown the menu she said " Ugh that's such an old menu we haven't been shown how to do those " . So my sister have her the choice to do another drink but she said "No I'll just make that one". Way to much confidence for someone who proceeded to make the worst tasting drink. So we went back to the table took one of the drinks that someone else in our group had gotten and got that fixed by the other bartender. Hopefully next time if we go back it's a lot better

Love this place! Great food and drinks at very reasonable price, with lots of games/ fun things to do for the whole family!

Food was not good. Ordered chicken tenders and fries, out of fries, was offered fried pickles as a substitute, both were overcooked to the point of inedible, very salty. Wings were good, bartender was very nice. I'm probably too old for the place. Won't be back.

No food! Not even food trucks. Service was pretty bad. Not enough bartenders. Ran out of Tito's which means someone forgot to inventory. Ambiance was great. One thing the chairs were very uncomfortable. Built for 12 year olds.

Had issues right off the bat. I wasn't let in because I was in a plain white tshirt, the manager came out and told me "oh that sucks go home and change." I live about 30 min away. I told her that and she said you can buy a shirt here or go to walmart across the street. No apologies for the inconvenience or anything, this is the face of your company at the moment. Whatever it was fine luckily my friend lives down the road where I went to change. We get in hang out few moments later I see about 3 people in plain white tshirts. Also there is no mention of this on their website of a dress code. Hopefully you get a chance to see this or the picture of this sign.
