Had a great experience here! Kevin was such a bright and loving light and Ahman (I hope spelled his name right) was so patient and helpful with choosing our food. Definitely 10/10 recommended for service and food quality. Can't wait to come back!

Some days I'm just not a good person to take to a lunch buffet. I don't get my money's worth. But the up side is that I can get a variety of dishes. Today was simple, Indian Meatballs, Murg Timka Makhani, Murg Kadaiwala, Garlic Naan & Basmati Rice, with Badameer Kheer for dessert. Yes it was delicious. The food on some buffets sit too long causing dryness and loss of taste. Not here - the turnover of all buffet items prevented that. They were doing a brisk business and it seemed like people were leaving and arriving at similar times so there was little to no wait. Food was great & prices were reasonable - especially for the quality.

We happily stumbled across this restaurant while we were traveling through Albuquerque. I can't tell you how much we all really loved our Indian dishes and I know how hard it is to find a really good Indian restaurant.
Clearly other people have also found this restaurant. While the seating area wasn't that busy, there was a lot of takeout leaving the building.
If we lived in the area, we would definitely be ordering out from this place on a regular basis.
Also, a family member has celiac so finding a place that we can safely eat gluten-free is also important and we were really happy to know that we could safely eat here.
The one thing I will say is, I usually expect the naan to be light and fluffy and this was more denser like a flatbread.Helpful 2Thanks 0Love this 2Oh no 0 - Audrey G.Saint Paul, MN2664May 4, 2024
Things get pricey but reliable buffet Indian food always busy at lunch. It's a go to place

This place was amazing! I am visiting for my birthday and I was very impressed. The food was great, fast, great quality. The service was awesome, very attentive service! Thank you Kevin & Ahman (idk if I spelled that right)! I will definitely come back next time I'm in ABQ!

I recently visited Taj Mahal Cuisine of India for dinner, and although they didn't have a buffet, I decided to explore their menu. As a vegan, I'm always grateful to find Indian food places that offer plenty of vegan options. I opted for the Baingain Bharta, my go-to dish when trying out new restaurants, along with some vegetable samosas.
The Baingain Bharta was decent. I asked for it to be spicy, and they delivered it! As for the samosas, I found the dough-to-fillings ratio to be on the thicker side, and personally, I prefer less bread and more potatoes and peas. The service was fast and attentive, and I would like to mention specifically that, I unintentionally left my credit card behind after leaving the restaurant, and they held onto it for me until I could come to pick it up the next day. I really appreciated them for that!
I would definitely love to come back and try some other items on the menu when I'm back in Albuquerque.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Maaz M.Lakewood, CA7131Apr 19, 2024

I was traveling with family and ordered indian coffee and aloo gobi with phulka(homemade style) roti.
-the coffee came in a food container bowl. It was black coffee, no cream or sugar on side or in the coffee. I specifically asked for strong indian coffee. This dude just gave a normal black drip coffee. It was not even in a cup. when i called and asked him he said to use your own cup.
-The potato/cauliflower was not fully cooked extra large pieces of cauliflower and potato in tomato sauce. (That's not u make this curry- its only made with aloo and gobi)
-Roti was basic thick naan when I specifically asked for phulka roti and explained him too.
Every single thing i tried was horrible.
When i called they didn't care and just hung up the phone.

The portion sizes here are generous. We had the chicken tikka masala, ordering both mild and medium spice levels. I have eaten a lot of Indian food, and love a nice average level of spicy, so I usually go with medium for me. The medium was really really spicy though. Not so much that I couldn't eat it, but I'ld go mild next time. The chicken in the mild sauce was super tender, but the chicken in the medium sauce was a bit dried out. The basmati rice was very good, but the garlic naan tasted more like a nice flatbread.
If there weren't any other options for Indian food in ALB I would come back here and adjust my order based on my first visit, but there are plenty of options here in town so I will try a few other places first.Helpful 4Thanks 0Love this 4Oh no 0
