Tacos Mirasol

My husband and I live in Tucson and our travels brought us here because our daughter ate here last year during her travels and said we had to try it!
We were the first customers on a Thursday morning -
My husband got the #2
Ground beef. And I got the number six ground beef.
His overall rating is 4.7:
Highlights were the enchilada sauce, different from what you get in Tucson, no complaints!
I gave it 4.2 - the beef was good but lacked individual seasoning, the rice and beans excellent!
Service was fine! Price is good.
What detracted was the chips were not even so-so, the salsa was hot spice wise, but not a lot of flavor... Too spicy for me. Any
Place is a "hole in the wall" but clean and tidy!
I'm glad we stopped in Deming !

Taco Mirasol has a large menu with standard Mexican fare. My husband and I both got a combo plate. He had 3 beef enchiladas with rice and beans and I had 3 carne asada tacos with rice and beans. They bring complimentary chips and salsa. Be warned, the salsa is quite spicy but very good. The meals had large portions, more than we could eat. The two entrees and 2 cans of soda came to around $24. We enjoyed the meals and would return if we are back in this area. The restaurant is close to downtown and is very clean and nicely decorated. A lot of their patrons get takeout, but they do have seating for around 15-20 people.

Absolutely delicious! If you want terrific soft tacos, beans, rice and salsa, this is hands down the best! Service was fantastic. Don't miss this place if you are craving delicious food! Would go there twice a week, if we were close by.

I always love checking out hole in a wall places and Tacos Mirasol was one I'm definitely glad I went. The place is not upscale by any means. In fact, if you look at it from outside from the street, you probably can't really tell how great of a restaurant this place was. The place looks a little rundown from outside..but once inside and having the food, you will realize it's simply one of a hole in a wall charm that locals and visitors on a roadtrip should just stop by.

Everything is affordable and there is no formal table services here. Once you get in, you line up at a counter and order, pay, grab a seat and someone will bring out your food. I got a few shrimp and fish tacos (somehow not on the board above the counter..but I asked anyways since I saw a printed menu in a photo before checking the place out) along with a glass of fresh lemonada. You can choose how many tacos/types of meat you want. The total price was affordable..I believe it was less than $10 for me for a scrumptious meal, too!

The food came out fast..and they also gave you complementary chips+salsa (how kind!). It's such a no frills place...and definitely a local's spot. I love how fresh and how non-sluggish I feel after eating the food. Usually I avoid Mexican/New MExican food because I often feel like I have to climb into a bed and nap after a heavy meal...but this one here at Tacos Mirasol wasn't so! I felt great and felt the food was made fresh + tasty as a bonus, too!

Check this affordable tacos place out whether you are a local or someone on a roadtrip passing by this area!

Note: Have to adjust the rating down as pricing is inconsistent and not transparent. I went back and ordered the same thing (3 shrimp and fish tacos) with a lemonade. Last time they charged me $8 something. This time, they charged me $12.88 (the only difference may be the size of the lemonade..which can't be $4 for sure). Ask for receipt if you can.

We were stopping through for gas and food on our way back to the west coast and decided to stop in Deming and give this place a try. What a gem! So glad we did!

We're used to good Mexican food being from Southern California--Tacos Mirasol was on par (and even better!) than some of our favorite taco places in California.

It was sooo good! Everything--the tacos, beans and rice, chips and salsa, home made hot sauces, customer service, prices--it's all there! This place is the real deal. Would highly recommend.

If we're ever doing the long haul trek across the 10 in the future, we'll definitely stop in again!

This was some delicious tacos. We arrived after the lunch rush, so we had very quick service. Tasty, fresh and some great spicy sauce on the side! Yum! Definitely recommend this restaurant!

Excellent food. Friendly people, fair prices Would recommend this business if you live in town or driving through and want good Mexican food.

Great reviews pulled us in. We each had three small tacos of beef, carne asada, carnitas and desebrada. They were all the same having no taste whatsoever. They have a nice eating area outdoors but it was locked. The waitress was very nice. Taco Bell is nearby. Will try it next time.

Great tacos and tortas! Salsa was so tasty. Authentic and colorful atmosphere. Friendly staff. Will definitely stop again if in the area.
