Mi Mexico viejo

This is a drive through establishment just off the main drag that appears family run. I love breakfast burritos and would definitely come again. I ordered the bacon and husband ordered a ham breakfast burrito. We would have easily rated a 5 except they were extra salty. Not sure if this is typical or an oops. Definitely all fresh cooked, clean, made with pride.

Staying in silver city for a few months and we really liked this spot for lunch. The pork and potatoes burrito is solid as is their roast beef burrito.

Have tried Don Juan, Jalisco and the other local favorites.. all good and worth trying but this is our favorite. The food is seasoned and cooked extremely well and the prices are very low compared to the large portions. It's our go-to for take out every time.

I loved it. Now the old saying...."can't judge a book by its cover" applies in every sense of the saying.

I didn't know what to order. I could not believe this trailer displayed a sign that read..."drive thru" with an arrow pointing to the back side of the trailer. I was skeptical FOR SURE. to my surprise...I ordered a taco plate that was called the azteca. It came out after sitting in front waiting for them to cook it. That was a plus. When I saw this old lady, sweet as can be, come out and spoke in her native Mexican tongue to enjoy. I was blown away. Look at my pic. It was a delicious blend of flavors from grilled onions and tomatoes tossed with chopped jalapeños and Carne Asada to feed 2 people. HUGE! I wasn't afraid. I'm going back tomorrow.

It's a small little drive thru. The burritos are very good in portion size, flavor, variety, and fair price.

Burritos. Not so much. So frustrating because I know tons of places in several States far far to the North that serve far better burritos and tacos. Having travel to Mexico a lot it's a shame that nowhere seems to serve Mexican food.

If you are going here order the taco plate. Closest thing to a decent Taco you'll get in town. Still, leaves a lot to be desired

Ugh... such good food for the money! You do need money tho... no cards :( I got breakfast burritos from here everyday when I was visiting town. They are massive and delicious! The lady taking orders was very sweet & it felt good buying from a mom and pop place .

I've been here twice this week for their veggie burrito. I don't know what she puts in there, but it's good. Really good. It's a little drippy but the flavor is wonderful. It's a great little sidewalk taco stand. Don't miss this place for a quick, easy, tasty meal.

Greasy food. Slow service rude lady didn't write our order down and of course didn't get it right. Won't be going here anymore. If you like so much grease that you can't taste the food then this is your place.

After passing by Mi Mexico Viejo maybe a few hundred times on our way up to and from the Mountain, we finally stopped by...and didn't realize what we were missing! We both had the #8 Green Pork burrito.....YUMBO! And when I shout out a YUMBO!, it's good! This is our new go-to spot for a quick bite.It's just a little trailer with a couple of tables outside, but the burritos hit the spot. Looking forward to trying a few other menu items.
