We were referred to this restaurant by a friend that told us the food was really good, so needless to say we were excited and our hopes were high. Imagine you are watching the Office and the scene comes up where I believe One of the actor starts yelling NO!! That is what I am saying to you No No No. My first clue that we were in trouble was when they brought the chips and salsa out. Their idea of salsa was taking their pico and adding some water to it. Totally NOT salsa. My meal was enchiladas. The food came out really quick and that was good and put me on edge. My enchiladas were cold on the inside. The cheese was not even melted in the middle!! My advice to this place is to rethink your salsa. That is the first impression someone has of your restaurant!! Another piece of advice is quality vs speed. Put the product you want in front of the customer, if it is not what you would eat yourself then redo it. Take time to put a quality meal in front of your customers!!!

We endured a terrible experience at Casa Blanca and did our homework in search of a restaurant that serves excellent New Mexican food. El Paraiso did not disappoint!
A group of 8 of us arrived at the restaurant at 6:30pm on a week night and were seated immediately. The restaurant was empty, but we did not think much of it since the kitchen smelled great. Several of us ordered menudo, posole, chile relleno, carne adovada, steak fajita, and enchiladas. I can't tell you how amazing each dish was. The tortillas are fresh and hot, probably hand made.
Our meal, for 8 people came up to under $80 overall (not including tip). What a steal! If I could eat here regulary, I would. Try it!Helpful 3Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Clark B.Midland, TX88Oct 3, 2017
Green chili chicken enchiladas, bland. Very little cheese. No Chile!! They use a microwave to heat their food.

Wife and I ate here twice and don't understand the bad reviews. Friendly people, quick attentive service and thought the food was excellent! Great hatch chile rellenos!

We ordered for kids and adults. The food for adults was good overall (the beef tacos) the menudo was a bit too spicy but good. My kids food (burger) was almost red in the middle, she couldn't eat it. But really a lot of places have been doing this where they aren't cooking beef patties right. Still would go back but no burgers.
