Deming Truckstop

We have been here a few times - both as a buffet and from the menu. You know it is good when you walk into an ethnic food restaurant and the patrons are of the same nationality as the restaurant's food.

Plenty of variety of meat and vegetarian options on the menu. The waitress/owner does a great job of explaining what is on the buffet to distinguish between the meat and vegetarian choices.

The restaurant is clean and the service is excellent. My husband enjoyed a freshly made mango lassi and I had a delicious hot chai.

We highly recommend this gem right off of I-10.

It was a nice surprise to find a Indian restaurant at the gas station... was able to grab a quick breakfast. The Aloo Parota ( filled with potato, onions and spices) was made fresh and from scratch. It was spicy as I had hoped. No frills decor. Signage for the name of the business is a bit misleading- the staff told me it's called Punjabi Indian Restaurant and google has it the same. But the signs have it as Demings Truck Stop, a old logo sign outside has a different name. All that said- if you find your way to Demings snd craving some savory Indian food- you maybe in for a treat . Ps- they have a buffet too.

Was traveling through Deming decided to grab a bite to eat, went in the truckstop notice a great smell coming from the place went in the back side saw that there was a restaurant and I notice the kitchen was very clean and all the staff were wearing gloves that is a big plus for me. The people were nice and the food was great I had the curry lamb and rice. The only problem I had there were quiet a few flies. Other than that everything was great. I'll recommend this place.

Did not try their Indian food restaurant next door. Only filled up the tank and bought some snacks.

An average "Mom & Pop" convenience store/gas station. Nothing fancy about the place. Restroom was not bad. Prices were higher than normal compared to the other name brand travel plazas we stopped at during our roadtrip.

After reading some of the other reviews, it looks like their reataurant would be the main reason for stopping in.

I'm almost 99% certain it was this place

So eater beware !

Was pleasantly surprised to find authentic Punjabi food in the I-10 highway. Food was freshly prepared and service was excellent. Recommend this stop to anyone looking for Indian food.

Stopped by to get a bite as we passed through Deming. Got a Buffett plate to go since my dogs were in the car and it was hot outside.

Loved every bite! Would definitely stop back when driving through Deming again!!

Stopped in despite some older reviews, and found a classic diner serving great Indian food. The owner was doing double duty taking orders and serving. The food was very flavorful and the place filled up as I ate my meal.

The food was amazing and the service was even better. If you are a fan of Indian food and driving by Deming and don't stop here it is a crime. For all Indian food lover come to this place and enjoy the fresh Dhaba food cooked to authentic Indian taste.
