I ordered a plate with 2 chicken Tacos.
After the first bite I realized that the tacos were not chicken but instead were pork. Each piece of pork had hard fat on it, unlike chicken which has a softer fat or non at all. I brought is to their attention and the 'chef' insisted it was chicken. They offered to sell me another taco. The tacos were fine but not what I ordered. After lunch she asked if I wanted to speak to the 'chef', I said no because we had nothing to discuss if he, the chef doesn't know the difference between chicken and pork.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - James B.Las Cruces, NM012Jul 7, 2023
Employee actions can make or break a business! When they first opened I liked the price and value but have noticed in the last year they have fewer and fewer customers so I stopped back for a meal and ordered Shrimp tacos. Big mistake for a ten dollar price!
The tacos were like " where's the Shrimp " I ate the meal but will not go back .
When asked about a menu item the employee showed little knowledge and definitely no enthusiasm about wanting to explain ,Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Yvonne R.Montebello, CA78181Sep 24, 2023
Went through the drive-thru today. The food was delicious and coming from L.A. it's been really hard to find Mexican food that is similar. I will be going back...

Got off I-10 in Las Cruces on a Sunday, very few Mexican Restaurants were open but Alanbertos was. It was authentic, and we had not had good Mexican Food for awhile, so we really enjoyed it. It is a Mom & Pop shop, the daughter brought us our food. Pretty big menu, I just got the same tacos that my husband ordered. Very clean, only four other people dining on a Sunday afternoon other then us. The Horchata was great. I cleaned my plate, husband had leftovers, which the dog got into in the car, so he enjoyed the food, too. Clean, safe. Had clean restrooms. Sit by the windows, you can people watch, it is interesting. I believe there is a drive thru, too.

We ordered from this restaurant for delivery. I ordered a ground beef chimichanga. My daughter ordered a chili Relleno burrito. What I ordered is not what was delivered. I received a shredded beef with green peppers and onions. About 90% of it was all peppers and onions. It was also sitting in juice or liquid which made the entire chimichanga soggy. My daughters burrito had a small chili Relleno in it, but for the most part was all stuffed with rice and pico de gallo. We were excited to try this place but it turned out very disappointing.

Stopped here pretty late at night on our drive from California to Texas. This place had higher stars then other burrito/taco shops. I ordered a egg bacon and cheese breakfast burrito and it was so good! It def hit the spot. There was plenty of room to eat inside and outside. After we ordered about ten more people came. When a place is popular you know it's good!

The Chile relleno here was FANTASTIC, totally a 10/10!! We stopped in late last night (Monday) and the service was super friendly and the food was wonderful. The carnitas are cubed, not pulled, but taste great (per my wife) and I had the combo plate. Enchi/taco were a 9/10, with a relleno on the side that was the Bomb!!
It was so good we went back for taco Tuesday, got 5 tacos (asada, adobada, carnitas, pesacado, and polo) that were all a fabulous lunch!
Thanks Alanbertos, you were a great find in LC!!Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0
